Re: LaGarrette Blount #37 on Rivals Top 100
THE BUZZ: Blount arrived from junior college and immediately made an impact with 17 rushing touchdowns, a school single-season record, despite sharing time with Jeremiah Johnson. Blount is a tough, physical runner but also a breakaway threat, as he averaged 7.3 yards per carry – a school record for 1,000-yard rushers (he had 1,002). With Johnson gone, Blount will carry more of the load – and dish out even more punishment – for the Ducks this season.
Good stuff. I wonder if Masoli will make the list?

Definitely. I would imagine he's Top 25. His performance is ridiculously heavy in how the Pac-10 as a whole will shake out.UOducksTK1 wrote:THE BUZZ: Blount arrived from junior college and immediately made an impact with 17 rushing touchdowns, a school single-season record, despite sharing time with Jeremiah Johnson. Masoli is either in the top 10 or outside of the top 100...

This list seems to incorporate a lot of the projected NFL value of each of these players instead of regarding them as simply college football players. I'm not sure i agree with all of these but it is interesting to see how high some of these players are (Russell Okung of Okie State seems quite a bit too high to me).

I've seen him play, and is nothing but a solid player. A little above average OLman
