Clay for Grant?
This is a question for those who have a better feel for Oregon recruiting than I. If Grant does eventually de-commit as has been speculated, does Brennan Clay see his scholarship offer from Oregon expand beyond DB and get offered as a RB as well? I remember one of the mods saying the only way Clay gets offered as a RB is if Grant goes elsewhere. Well...hmm, that might happen. I still very much would like to see Clay in a Duck uni and would really be pleased with either but I would not be pleased with neither.
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

I would take either but I think it's a little too late with Clay now

Brennan Clay committed to the Sooners he's out of play. We have Williams silently submitted and we have Lattimore coming in for a visit. It's not a guaretee we'll lose Grant either.

Ethan Grant is a stud and it would be a shame to lose him. I like him even more than Clay. Our system is perfect for him, so i hope he stays with us. I think he isn't getting a high ranking from the rating programs because he isn't your typical college rb and wouldn't fit well in some of the offenses colleges are running nowadays.

grant reportedly ran a 4.28 zoooooooom in his last 40 thats unreal fast, would love to get this kid and with this new tazer position were putting in he should know the best player/athletes will see the field no matter what. Plus besides lawerence maroney and marion barber who has minnesota put in the league, going to oregon to play rb should be a no brainer imo. what game is he visiting for?

Yeah I don't either. He may be wavering a bit but I think that was expected. Kids always will question their decisions but in the end they usually stick with what they originally chose. Remember also that his mom tripped out here with him & loved it. I don't think she would be in favor of him going elsewhere. I havent been real worried about him.
