2002 SFs

Fred Jones B- C+ D+ C C- A

In a loss that should probably cost Ernie Kent's job, he was knocked out in the second round of the NCAA tournement. Despite having two Lukes and a Fred in the lineup he squandered posession in his four out one in system. Jones anchored an otherwise prolific team as the main scoring threat. He is the definition of a high flier. Excellent potential.

Teyshaun Prince C C+ C+ B C- A

Very good defender who always sought out and held down the best player on the floor for the Blue Devils. While he may not have the best upside of the this class, he is very balanced and could be seeing the starting role somewhere for years to come. He has an accurate, albeit flat deep ball.

John Salmons C B- C C+ C- B

Great deep ball and loves to play above the rim. Not the best FT shooter but not poor. Quick as a cat. Decent but not exceptional upside.

Randy Holcomb B C- D+ C C+ B

Classic slasher who gets to the rim with ease. Might struggle with his turovers at the next level. One of the best motors you will see at the SF positions but he played at quite a low level and the transition to the NBA might be difficult for him.

Bostjan Nachbar C C+ C C C+ A

Another Yugo of the flood we have seen recently. More of a midrange shooter but he does have the ability to sit in the corner and make shots. He doesn't have a true position, depending on how he develops he coudl be a 2, 3 or 4. Either that or he will be stuck without a true position entirely. Not particularly strong. Very good upside but developmental.

Other Small Forwards

Devin Brown C+ C C C+ C B

Balanced prospect with an immunity to screens. Average potential.

George Williams C C+ C- C+ D+ B

Very quick with a top shelf deep ball. Prototypical size for position.

Alpha Bangura C+ C D+ C C- B

Great name, top shelf upside. Great outside look but one of the flattest shots you will ever see.

David Bluenthal C+ C C- C+ C A

Developmental Isreali out of USC. Good outside form with great quickness and great positonal strength. Bad rebounding and not a good passer.
