Issac Dixon Update

He will be visiting this weekend. He said in the interview that distance is not a factor for himself or his parents.
"Yes sir, I will be in Eugene on Saturday and I am real excited about it. So far I have been to USF, FIU and Kansas State on unofficial visits but this will be my first official visit and I'm going to make it count." Dixon has plans to visit a couple of Big East programs later in the season, but for now the Ducks are the only team on his mind.
"I have always liked everything about Oregon. From the uniforms to the facilities, to the way the fly around and play with so much speed, I like it all." Dixon has been waiting for this moment to arrive for months and he plans on making sure he covers all his bases when he gets to Eugene. Since it is likely a one-time trip before he makes his decision, he plans on doing some serious research over the weekend.
Sounds like he could commit on the spot maybe!? He says he has not ruled that out!

Re: Issac Dixon Update
If all goes well, Dixon could be the next recruit to commit to Oregon.
We shall see.

Re: Issac Dixon Update
Is he being recruited as a LB or a DB? He seems to have the size of a DB but the speed of a LB, so it's a little hard to peg him into a single position.

As far as everything I've read, he is being recruited as a Rover even though he plays LB right now in high school.

He is also playing RB right now for his high school team because the starting RB is injured and he has been doing pretty good so he is athletic and can play multiple positions.droop10 wrote:As far as everything I've read, he is being recruited as a Rover even though he plays LB right now in high school.

I don't know if I'm ready to move on to another "Dixon."

Re: Issac Dixon Update
A note on Dixon's visit. His father won't e able to make it out, but he is more excited about Oregon than Dixon himself is and his mother likes the idea of him getting away to go to school so it should be a situation where the Ducks don't get hurt because of distance even though the parents didn't make the trip.

Time for me to break out the old "Dixon Your Mouth" shirt perhaps. In fact, after this past weekend, I should have a "Dickson Your Mouth" one made up.

Re: Issac Dixon Update
If his speed is legit he will probably be a very good FS.
