I have to say, I was really depressed (not real depression) this year during the season. This new energy, excitement and no progress is the best.

Remember my Hines comment I made to you in another post? Now you really are starting to sound like him. Just keep this negative s*** coming.jimmy12 wrote:I have to say, I was really depressed (not real depression) this year during the season. This new energy, excitement and no progress is the best.

I think there is tangible progress. Our recruiting class went from 40s-50s to the mid 20s. Probably will break the top 20 by weekends end.jimmy12 wrote:This new energy, excitement and no progress is the best.
Aside from that the staffs aggressiveness and use of social media in recruiting is DEFINITE progress!

I agree with Jimmy, last season was hard to take and now with Willie coming in and the progress he's making with hires and recruits is very exciting and a welcome change. Jimmy made a typo, wanted "now" and got "no", we all have had it happen one way or another. That's why you see in my post a lot of them show they have been edited.jimmy12 wrote:that is what i was trying to sayLegalizeQuack wrote:I think there is tangible progress. Re: Erased tweet
LOL Yeah in that sentence you wrote the word you misspelled was about the worst one you could in that sentence LOL
Seems a few have been a little sensitive and jumping to conclusions more so that usual here lately. I had a post yesterday that I wasn't perfectly clear and was misunderstood on a subject about whether or not I agreed with WT hard nose approach (I do by the way). One of those things where we were reading from the same book just from different pages. There are a couple members (won't post their names) who are being excessively negative at a time that should be extremely positive IMO and some of use may be a little over it. Don't sweat it, it will pass.

Re: Erased tweet
If you've read Jimmy's posts he tends to go one way or the other, there is no middle ground. When he disagrees he almost takes a "Hines" approach and shoots it down without much of a second thought. Jimmy, if you read this I mean no offense to you. Like I said before, most of the time it's warranted. Also, I apologzie for my misread on this one. The inability to add tone in a message board makes it difficult to tell if you were using sarcasm or if it was just a typo.rsbgduck wrote:LOL Yeah in that sentence you wrote the word you misspelled was about the worst one you could in that sentence LOL

Comparing my posts to Hinds is a bit harsh and unwarranted. I have disagreed or posted an opinion only to have people jump all over it. It seems if you differ in opinion, people think you're negative or combative.
