I'm guessing they are counting Lenoir as the surprise.

That would be lame.

Overall, underwhelming considering what we were expecting but pretty good considering where we were a few months ago.

Oregon is solidly in the top 25 but it would have been to get top-20. USC just absolutely whooped everyone in the Pac-12 this year on the recruiting front. They're going to be awfully tough to beat now.
The national media finally gets a chance to breath a sigh of relief. USC and Washington return to the top of the Pac-12 and Oregon returns to the middle of the division. All has been righted in the college football world.

The coaches did as good a job as one could expect them to do with a month to recruit. Think this is a case where excitement and enthusiasm weren't enough to overcome their time constraints. Give them a few more weeks or months and I think they pull in some of the big guys they went after. Still think this class is solid and likely in much better shape than if Helfrich had been retained and allowed to finish this class.

Look on the bright side... even if we were underwhelming we arn't Texas... Recruiting hotbed and they are #33 in the recruiting rankings. So much for Tom Herman working miracles over there.

I heard Lang is not going to USC. We should get on that.

It's actually pretty shocking that Herman couldn't build a better class even on short notice.

Really? #33? That's just bad for Texas, considering their location and tradition.

His staff hires were very underwhelming.

Taggart built this thing right (besides Reaves).

If you think DT is bad with the disappointment, go on Texas' 247 site. Definitely think it is the end of the world. They are 33rd on Rivals, 28th on Scout and I think 27th on 247. Either way we did better.

He told some guys on DT that's who he thought Oregon would get based on the information he had. Only two on his list Oregon will likely end up with are Lenoir, Gibson, and Moore. Just shows that information near NSD can get out of date real fast with how fluid this time is.

Is the class done? Is Falo gone? Anyone else we're waiting on?
