His dad said this on Instagram:
"Shout out to Oregon OC/QB Coach Marcus Arroyo for all the love today. At the camp, he pulled DJ aside and did a personal workout with him. Had a great conversation with him after and all I'm going to say is I'm so proud of my son. The future is bright at Oregon."

Thanks for the info Phenom! That's a HUGE plus for the Ducks and Coach Arroyo. If you're IN with the "aiga" (family)....you've got a chance when the family sits down to make a decision for their son and where DJ will play college football.

Looks like Taggart and a couple other coaches used a helicopter to get between Medford and Corvallis to watch Chase Cota play the 1st half of his game before watching Talanoa Hufanga's 2nd half. Akili Smith may have posted some video that Taggart recorded of said trip.

I wonder if the trips are more on keeping known commitments or swaying those undecided?

I think it's both those and then going after recruits in future classes. Oregon offered two recruits from Missouri within the last day so I wouldn't be surprised if some coaches have visited or will visit during this bye week.

Arroyo just visited 2019 DB Erick Young so it looks like he's in the Houston-area today.

Michael Johnson was in Missouri this week: Keith Heyward appears to have been in Fresno: Marcus Arroyo was in Houston to visit Arjei Henderson: Raymond Woodie was in Texas: Don't know which article it was I read but it listed the coaches also visiting recruits in the Bay Area, SoCal, Utah, Arizona, Georgia, Florida, and a couple other states.

Beginning to think they have someone on the ground in Ohio as there's been about 2-4 recruits from there who've gotten offers in the past couple days.

Would love to see a complete list of all the kids the coaches hit up this weekend. They are all over the place.

I actually wonder about the Hendi De-Commit. Because 20 hours before the decommit he tweeted about Coach Arroyo being in town. Almost like he talked with him and he could still be thinking Oregon, but wanted to take his visits and things like that.

Candidly, I think the kid realized he needs to go through the process and not limit himself to one school. He was at Oklahoma when he tweeted to Arroyo. He obviously loved the trip and wants to see more schools (including Oregon). The Ducks are still in the game. The kid just needs time and doesn't want to disappoint. (IMO). I am basing this on his tweet. (He will be decommiting and won't be committing until signing day). My response-- fair enough.
