We'll just roid him up. I mean really, otherwise this our 2339785th DE prospect. Or he's a WR, which means Hall, Wheaton, Gaines, and JJohnson are problywoundedknees wrote:Right... a 215 lb DT prospect...

Re: Another Commit
I'm not impressed. Other than Boise St, look at his offers. We are in the pac-10, coming off of a 10 win season and top 10 ranking. Why waste spots for guys like this?

Re: Another Commit
The Ducks coaches must be confident that they lose out on all the WR prospects: Gaines (Oklahoma), Wheaton (UCLA), Hall (Arizona), Johnson (Washington) and probably Jackson (Colorado) to offer this kid a scholarship. WTF? If the Ducks strike out on all of them and lose Leon to academic standards, it's back to 1 and 2* guys for the Ducks. Man, this recruiting season has been a real roller coaster ride, up and down. I sure hope this is all speculation on Leon and the WR's and it ends on a up by getting some of the WR's, Leon, Harris and Brown and Boyd.

Re: Another Commit
Give the kid a break. If Chip/Bellotti give him a thumbs up, they might see more upside than is apparent. Sometimes these unknowns have more to offer than we have access to.
KOD, you nailed it.

Re: Another Commit
Any player seriously interested in Sacramento State should not even be given a look by Oregon. I doubt this kid ever sees the field, unless it's on special teams.

Good point. I remember a few days ago everyone was echoing the "if he's good enough for CK, he's good enough for me" sentiment.Tinfoilman wrote:Give the kid a break. Re: Another Commit
What will be awesome is if we all look like a bunch of idiots for complaining about this guy because he becomes some stud for the Ducks. I would love for that to happen!!!

Re: Another Commit
From the Brandon Huffman story it doesn't appear that he's being brought in at WR.
Let the process play itself out before going all doom n' gloom re WRs for instance.
Good job KOD.
