2. Mullins didnt lie, he laid out the events as they happened and Taggart was caught.
3. The more I hear about Taggart the more I question him actually. How he treated walk ons, how he treated the high school coaches and now nega recruiting the school.

Well it's not like Mario can't sell south Florida to Eugene and we've had plenty of flOrida ducks through the years from Ryan Gilliam to Charles Nelson. Still really bummed Chuck didn't play Safety this year with how well willie used him on offense.Phenom wrote:Kinda hope Mario kicks his ass, TBH.

Yes, if it is true that Taggart is speaking negatively about Oregon ( or more personally about Mario ) that's not cool, but this is where we are in todays recruiting world. Coach will say just about anything to gain an advantage. Seems like Mario has too good a character to say this, but he could easily flip the script in the living rooms of future recruits telling his parents that he's committed to coaching the University of Oregon for years too come.

Re: Negative recruiting-Taggart
I hope we can all gain some perspective that we use in our real lives on this, maybe professionally or personally.
I DO NOT want to believe that Willie is nega-recruiting or trashing Oregon and I really do hope this is a "heard it from a recruit's-mother's-cousin's-hairdresser's-dogwalker" thing. I hope it is a rumor and not a fact.
But if it is true, it's just sad. Not as in "pathetic" or "weak"...well, maybe it is those things too, but it just kind of makes you exhale and shake your head.
We gave that man and his family everything. His great-grandchildren are not going to have to work a day in their lives because of the national exposure the "righting of the Oregon Football Brand" provided his name and now he turns around and trashes on us?
I am not naive. I get negtive recruiting happens. Recruiting is hardcore sales and there are millions of dollars and careers at stake on each class, but for him to talk so publicly about how much he and his family loved Oregon one minute and then allegedly trash us behind closed doors? If it's truly true it is kind of a let down.

Re: Negative recruiting-Taggart
As someone pointed out earlier, it would be quite hypocritical of Taggart to bash Oregon when three weeks ago, Oregon was the best job on earth with the best coaching staff. If he is, you’d hope/think that even if the kids buy into the BS, the parents would see right through it.

Read where Dabo swinney told a recruit something about Meyer (maybe not staying at osu) or something and the kid flipped to Clemson.

Re: Negative recruiting-Taggart
the problem is that negative recruiting works. So he is fing us again, this time from 3000 mikes away. And he is probably doing it to try and keep Oregon out of Florida with Mario’s background there

I just hope they don’t run into each other because if he is talking bad on Mario I’m sure he could beat that azz no problem .....
