Re: 2018 Oregon Commit List
Oregon just needs to hold on to as many as possible and hope that once their coaching staff is completed, recruits will start coming back around to them.

Woodie also coached OLBs and was responsible for certain other players the staff recruited, especially JUCOs and those in FL.Duckenstein wrote:Coaching staff is complete except for ST and RB and WR I believegreenyellow wrote:Oregon just needs to hold on to as many as possible and hope that once their coaching staff is completed, recruits will start coming back around to them.

You can add Sione Vea Kava to the list. The Ducks are becoming a poly powerhouse.

Pretty good offer list: Georgia, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, etc.

Re: 2018 Oregon Commit List
His name was brought up a month ago by ScoopDuck but it looks like he finally got his offer. Salave'a was recruiting Kava while at WSU so that relationship was still there. Oregon has a good history with Poly players so having an ace Poly recruiter like Salave'a is a big bonus.TualatinDuck wrote:Thats why I asked who.

Re: 2018 Oregon Commit List
Oregon gets their LS of the future with the commitment and early signing of Army All-American Karsten Battles out of TX.

Re: 2018 Oregon Commit List
From the tone of some of the comments on the latest Quitoriano story, doesn't sound like he's going to sign in the early period. Wouldn't be surprised if ends up taking some other visits before signing in February.

Re: 2018 Oregon Commit List
With King decommitting, Webb, Andrew Johnson, Justin Johnson, Quitoriano, and Winston are the only unsigned commits.

Re: 2018 Oregon Commit List
Fwiw jhop keeps saying he's confident that j Johnson, a Johnson, and quitiriano are ducks. Webb and Winston could go either way.greenyellow wrote:With King decommitting, Webb, Andrew Johnson, Justin Johnson, Quitoriano, and Winston are the only unsigned commits.
It sounds like jhops main man is rising in the ranks and he's been very accurate if you allow for all the changes that happen from hour to hour with these kids

Re: 2018 Oregon Commit List
Appreciate the intel, Duckenstein. And yea, I was on scoopduck for a bit, and it definitely seems like he's plugged in straight to the coaches with this staff, rather than a degree removed with the old staff.
