Baffles me why Southwest has never picked up another Oregon city. Seems Eugene or Medford would be worth testing a daily flight to/from Oakland.greenyellow wrote:No but you can easily catch a connecting flight in Seattle, San Francisco, or Portland, all of which would still make travel time under 7 hours.EncinitasDuck wrote:Can you fly nonstop from Eugene to Sacramento? My only concern is why didn't he see more playing time being that highly rated? Was the depth chart that good his freshman year? Did he have a good/rapport with the coaches, injuries? If its just a case of wanting to be closer too home I get it.

There were multiple juniors and seniors ahead of him on the depth chart... "graduating ends Chad Thomas and Trent Harris, junior-to-be Joe Jackson (6.5 sacks, 11.5 tackles for loss), redshirt senior Demetrius Jackson (injured in November; 7.5 TFL, 3.5 sacks in seven games), and sophomore Jonathan Garvin (2.0 sacks, 3.0 TFL, two forced fumbles as a newcomer). Johnson would have been a part of that rotation, which could also include oft-injured former four-star recruit Scott Patchan (who flipped between DE and TE last year)."

There’s just no face to face contact allowed. Text, phone calls, and social media are all fair game. Coaches can’t see athletes play and athletes can’t be on campus unless they’ve signed their NLI or an agreement that binds them to the school.karlhungis wrote:How can they be so confident in the dead period?Duckenstein wrote:I think CMC is smart. He's putting together a monster staff.
It sounds like the staff is confident in getting Ezeike, Battle and Webb back.
Also sounds like they're confident on Sewell, Williams, and Hall
