I'm genuinely curious what the hell they are talking about? I'm really not trying to sound like a pompous ass but why would a big time recruit randomly go to OSU? The "proven track record" makes no sense considering its a brand new HC and the comment saying "does he make a mature playing time based on fit and playing time" is even more idiotic considering he will probably start day 1 here unless he is absolutely terrible or just not ready to play at a D1 level yet.

My step father played for the beavitzes immediately before the attack on Pearl Harbor. He missed the 1942 Rose Bowl ( which was held in Durham, North Carolina, due to fears arising from the attack), because he immediately enlisted in the Army.

(His brother, George, had been on the Arizona at the time of the attack, and the family was not aware that he had survived, yet.)

The vitriol that I received as the only Duck fan in our family was ridiculous.

Most of my siblings, as well as their children, still eat, sleep, and breathe BeaverMusk.

I can pretty much guarantee they will think along these lines.

The only proven track record Smith has, is that he was widely regarded as a bad OC by UW fans, and most wanted him gone. They also threw a party when he left.
