Apparently the ossai visit went really well. "9/10" according to someone I don't know.

Wouldn't be shocked to get a DL on NSD

If we find out he's got an offer, then we know they've missed out on a couple of the remaining WR recruits. Really sounds like people are negative recruiting Oregon hard the last few days before NSD, mainly saying they won't be throwing the ball much and pointing to the LV Bowl as evidence of the program is trending down.

It sounds like they are whiffing late on pretty much EVERY receiver they are after. Someone on a USC board is saying they got Ezeike as well. I just need to stop reading and wait until Wednesday.

There's almost no way they're getting both Williams and Ezeike since they have limited scholarships this class and have other needs besides WR.

I had the same thought, but apparently it is rumored that UW flipped a DT commit of theirs, so a scholly opened up. Anyway, we'll see. The late news is not good.

It sounds like they're basically at the 85 scholarship limit right now, which means they looking to free up 4-5 scholarships either by dropping commits or forcing medical retirements.

I guess if I'm looking for some good news, the scuttlebutt looks better for landing Sewell.

Sounds like if he doesn't pick Oregon, it's more likely to be Utah than SC. Saw a commitment likelihood of like 75% Oregon, 20% Utah, and 5% USC.

Bet my money Slick's neg recruiting us like crazy to Harrison. Probably saying how he knows all these coaches and how our playbook changed after he left. Hope his mama tells him to stick close to home and to sign with us instead of slick. I wonder if USC negatively recruits against us? Seems like they flip alot of our high probability recruits. I also wonder if we negative recruit against other schools, if its pretty universal in the recruiting world? If we did negative recruiting I'd imagine it would have been pretty easy to get miles battle and fam back on board with us and away from ole miss.

I know under Helf and Chip, Oregon rarely negative recruited and instead just talking about what Oregon had to offer. If they were asked about other schools, they would provide honest answers but try to turn it back to the Ducks. I'm not sure how it's been under Taggart and Cristobal so I can't really say what their recruiting pitches are like. I can easily see WT pulling some underhanded things but not sure that MC would do the same since he seems like more stand-up, honest guy.

As for USC, I doubt they need to do much negative recruiting to get most guys since their program sells itself for the most part but I could see Helton and his staff doing so if they needed to. I know that lots of schools have negative-recruited the heck out of Oregon since the end of Helf's tenure and have really made hay with the coaching instability from having 3 HCs in the past 14 months.

That seems hopeful if they haven't offered yet. Not for him obviously, but evidently they still feel like they have a shot with a few receivers, at least.

Cristobal, Arroyo, and Johnson were working hard on Battle last night. Heyward was supposedly in Harrison's ear as soon as he got back from Tallahassee but it's not looking good due Harrison's HS coach being a big factor (he's a Husky fan and is being anyone-but-Oregon.) Ezeike is down to SC and Oregon with him saying Oregon's coaches have been on him the most. Oregon is fighting hard down the stretch so you can't say they weren't trying their darnedest.

Outside of USC trolls hanging outside of funeral parlours, what reason would we have to be concerned about Devon Williams? CB's are still like 80% Oregon...he's named Oregon his leader, he's recently visited...
