I guess we should have sent a large group of our coaches to visit him when it was getting down to the wire. Seems like he liked the large numbers and attention. Wasn't that one of Slick's tactics that he would employ on recruits? I can see the effectiveness in that for recruits in this day and age.

Hard to say how critical to be about missing on Battle. I think he might have wanted to be #1 priority or at least feel like it. Doesn't look good for Ezeike right at the moment either, so it could be either Williams or bust on signing day at WR.
