or does it feel like that recruiting has just gone way up for us?? i feel like the rest of this class is gonna be awesome and i think 11' is gonna be the best class we have ever had... all because of the domination that occurred last night. i think we have finally planted the idea of us being a top tier program in recruits heads.. not just the flashy program out west. maybe im crazy but thats whats going through my head..

Agreed, this class especially seems to have more blue chip prospects interested in us then ever. Now we just need to pull them in.

If we win out (or at least go to the Rose Bowl and win), this class will probably crack the top 10.

Totally agree. This win over USC was so huge in the recruiting department. In this years class & classes to come. HUGE momentum shift.

USC will still get the cream. We might be able to steal 1-2 recruits a year from them but thats about it. Where this really will pay dividends is beating out teams like Cal, Washington, ASU, Stanford, and Arizona for recruits.

The thing is, we don't need to steal recruits from USC. We are showing with this class, we can go to places like North Carolina, Texas, and Florida to land great recruits.

yep exactly.. usc can have the cali blue chippers.. we can just go out of state.. or region. but i still think we will start to steal a couple all Americans from them every year

Oregon will continue to get the majority of their players from out west (CA, OR, WA, AZ) But will probably land the best talent from the East (FL,NC) and Texas and maybe break into some new states. It will be awhile before Oregon gets classes that compare to the likes of USC, Texas, Ohio State, etc. but they should consistently end up with top 10-15 classes every year.

i am feelin really lucky we got Kelly, we already though he had potential but we are now seeing it on the field. Combine that with some better overall talent from our in your face marketing and watch out duck fans we might get to the promised land...
