Seemed like mediocre fan turnout, but I imagine a lot of ppl are on summer vacation and it's just high school kids.

That said, looked like a really fun event for the kids. Lots of talent there!!! Lots of future ducks there!!! 7 McGee man, hope we can keep him committed, he sounds awesome.

I listened to the Skopil and Prehm podcast and was left bewildered by their conjecture that it would be better if Jonah T. waited to commit until late in the process. Their assumption being that if he committed sooner, other teams such as USC and Oklahoma would ramp up their recruitment. I just don't understand their logic whatsoever. It's idle speculation at its best. Like, why is it bad for Jonah to commit sooner, but all the other early commitments are somehow good?

This is why I agree with you that it's strange thinking.

I’m disappointed that neither Jalen John nor Silas Starr made it out. I’ve seen Starr play in person and he’s the real deal. John’s highlights are also pretty amazing, watch his HUDL if you wanna see what a 4-Star looks like against Oregon HS kids.

If the commit from Eaford is legit then I’m pretty happy. Between Adrian Jackson last year, and Funa this year, that’s a lot of star power at LB. Excited to see how our current crop of LBs plays, Dye is amazing and Winston is going to have a breakout season. Keith Simms is also making noise.

Jonah T will be an interesting one to watch. We have a legit shot, and his mom seems to like it here. There are two top recruiters, moms and girlfriends. Let’s hope for a change we’re on the right side for once. I think we take 1 or 2 more OL, and obviously he’s the headliner. Did the big kid out of Utah make it? It seems like we’re loading up on tackles and not the interior guys.

Giles Jackson looks good, I remember mentioning him on here during the winter months and I think he’s a steal. Absolute freak at his size, highest SPARQ store in the country. Kirk Merritt had the same honor. From all the reports Jameson was the best WR there, if he wants to come here we can’t turn down that type of talent.

So happy with this staff in the off-season. 9/1 can’t come soon enough. Getting all of our tickets in order, bringing a huge group for the season opener.

Sagapolu made it. I actually think if they do take another lineman assuming Jonah commits, that it will be at C with Sagapolu. Other than him I don't think they go after anyone else at OL.

He's a long term commitment because will likely take his Mission.

I didn't know he was a mission kid. The only kid I remember with one that worked out was Hamani Stevens, and he was worth the wait.

Brandon Bair and Mark Asper were also two Mormon recruits who took their mission. They both worked out big time. Alas, I was right about taking a C, but they decided to go for Capra instead.

With them taking Capra as a C, they'll likely still take Sagapolu if he does indeed plan on taking his mission immediately after HS.

Also, Eaford has now moved up his commitment from late August to this Thursday. Likely means he's a Duck.
