I still think Oregon will hold open spots for LBs like Heimuli (who sounds like he's pushing his commitment back to February due his long HS playoff schedule affecting his visit plans), To'oto'o (had similar issues as Heimuli), and Goforth.

I love dye but I don’t think he’s going to grade well for the nfl. At least not yet. He should probably come back and add 10-15 pounds and then hire a speed coach to help him with his 40 after next season.

Who are the surprise visitors who visited this weekend? I can't seem to find the post where it was shared.

Did the dt out of Louisiana make it this weekend? I haven't seen him in any posts.

He retweeted a Cristobal tweet but the last I had heard was that Sopsher was the final recruit Bama took. If he did trip there hasn't been a pic of him. Hopefully with KT on board Ika becomes a real possibility.kingk1 wrote:Did the dt out of Louisiana make it this weekend? I haven't seen him in any posts.

He's here, and loving it according to Jhop. Unfortunately he isn't signing early, so the glow could wear off.kingk1 wrote:Did the dt out of Louisiana make it this weekend? I haven't seen him in any posts.

Apparently Sopsher has a brother who's a JC recruit and they're possibly trying to find a school that'll take them both. Oregon likely won't have the space so that may rule them out eventually.

Re: Visitors for Dec. 14th
Rodney Sopsher is the brother. He’s a 3-star JuCo DL. Word is that LSU might take him to get Ish, but Bama won’t. I think we would take Rodney, to me it’s a no brainer. Getting the number one DT in the country and the price is two scholarships for two years, and at worst a warm body for practice. The biggest issue is that Rodney may not have an AA degree so he may not qualify academically. However, if someone wants to help him get a nice job in Eugene... Gotta play the SEC game.greenyellow wrote:Apparently Sopsher has a brother who's a JC recruit and they're possibly trying to find a school that'll take them both. His brother is likely Rodney Sopsher, a 6'2/255-ish 2* DE at Ellsworth C.C., in Amite, Louisiana.

That’s what LSU is doing on Monday, as the Tigers have offered a scholarship to a junior college defensive lineman who is the older brother of a 5-star 2019 defensive tackle."
