If I’m not mistaken, that his brother. And he bears a striking resemblance to Blount Force Trauma.greenyellow wrote:I believe that's actually his dad, which makes him look even better.rsbgduck wrote:His brother looks like he’s about 35yrs old,

I’d be pretty psyched if we picked up James. Talented kid.

STU-- who would you compare James to?StevensTechU wrote:I’d be pretty psyched if we picked up James. Talented kid.
Also, do you like Jamal Hill? What are your thoughts on his film?

James has a visit set to Ole Miss this coming weekend.

James is comparable to Deommodore and Ugo, in my opinion. But I don't want to get hopes too high since Nebraska and Ole Miss are in the mix.jimmy12 wrote:STU-- who would you compare James to?StevensTechU wrote:I’d be pretty psyched if we picked up James. Talented kid.

I like but don't love Hill. He checks out athletically for a safety, so maybe he can be coached up. I gravitate toward safeties who seem very instinctual, and from there the more athletic the better.

Hill and James have committed. Kinda doubt Emerson is much of an option now.

Re: Visitors for Jan. 18th
Based on where the Ducks stood at the conclusion of the early signing, getting James and Hill is a pretty outstanding outcome. Offers for the kid out of New Jersey and Jayden Williams recently had me concerned about whether the Ducks could get guys who aren't long shots, so this is a far better scenario than I expected. I think Hill is going to need some time to develop mentally, but James could push McKinley and Khalef for reps sooner than later. It's really great to see the defensive backfield talent level increase after John Neal phoned it in in his later years at Oregon.
