I don't think the kids think this is the end of a dynasty at USC. They just look at it as an opportunity to come in and play sooner I am sure. A couple of blowout losses doesn't have the same effect on USC as it would us unfortunately. Now if USC has a few average seasons then things might start looking up for Oregon and the other PAC-10 programs in regards to recruiting the top talent.

USC could lose the rest of their games this season and still come out with one of the top recruiting classes.

I think your right, because most USC fans believe that their poor performance this year will entice even more kids than normal, because of the greater chance that they could come in right away and play. Unfortunately for us I don't think USC will be down for long. They have too much talent in their own backyard, too much tradition and they have a great coach that will not let his program fall back to the days of Paul Hackett.

Well after all of this Cal this, Oregon that hullabaloo, I'll be pretty disappointed if King makes his way to USC when its all said and done. Really no reason not to go on a free trip though. Besides, If game atmosphere counts for anything in Gabe's mind he will have seen a typical excellent Oregon gameday atmosphere and Cal and USC gameday atmosphere's at their worst. :)

What is it that Gabe doesn't like about the Ducks that he hasn't committed ?
His two buddies are Ducks, they have the best fans west of the SEC, have the Best Facilities in college football. Have a perennial winning program lately, top 15 possible top 10 with a chance at a national championship in the future. Gameday has come here more than any other place in the West. Great TV exposure. Great coaching staff. Very good academics. Great looking cheerleaders....

What else do you want Gabe ? PULL THE TRIGGER

If he doesn't want to be a Duck, then so be it! I only want players who are excited to be here and can appreciate what we have going on!

Thanks nate. I would love to add him to this class. He would be a beast at DE for us.

Gabe has us and Cal in his top 2. he loves oregon but he also loves cal's dline coach a lot. how comfortable he is with the coaches seems to be a high priority for him. i think its more of a co-leader type thing right now between us and cal, and he's taking his time trying to decide.

Tosh must be quite a guy! I'm sure he's probably one of "the coolest coaches" out there, with his Xbox 360 and all. The dude may well be a great coach, but he's only been at a year or two. No matter how much I like a coach, or how cool I think he is, I wouldn't ever consider playing for a guy with almost no experience coaching at a major program. If I didn;t have much talent, and was going to be playing for a smaller school, then sure I would come play for a young buck because I'm probably not going to get to the next level. I hope he makes to decision to go with experience over "cool".

Did you actually see him? I could be wrong (and if I was, my bad) but I got my info from a very good source.
