the conf will prob only get 3 teams in the tourny...wash, cal, and one spot up for grabs. with a weak non-conf schedule, and a weak conf schedule, its gonna be hard for us to get a lot of quality wins even if we have a solid record.

Even without quality wins Oregon will still most likely get a bid with a good overall record and with their schedule and with the PAC-10 looking like it is down that is a very real possibility and Ernie's job will be sparred once again although Oregon will probably lose in the first round.

UCLA is young and not very experienced this season. I've seen several of the pac-10 teams play already this year, and I'm not impressed. That is better news for Oregon though.

Yeah I watched a lot of that game & ucla did not look good. If the Ducks put a good beat down on Portland I'm gonna be feeling pretty good for this season.

I wasn't that impressed with the Ducks when I saw them this year. That being said, the still looked like they would kick the crap out of UCLA. UCLA just looked bad.

quality wins are the most important thing when evaluating teams to make the tourny. thats why zona made it last year when their record really wasn't all that good - and other teams with solid records (st marys for one) didn't make it (lack of quality wins)

UCLA has always had trouble scoring baskets under Ben Howland and this is probably the youngest/least talented team they have had. It could be an ugly year for them.
