In what one outlet that covers the team described as a purge, some 63 players (!!) have left the team since November 2017 — a truly eye-opening number that is outside of the norm for most regime changes.

If I remember right, his rosters here were on the light side too. I think Oregon at 70 some odd players when ge left

We dipped down after he left (sanctions and visit limit restrictions).

You’ll notice Chip still regularly drops his, “We’re one of the youngest teams in the country.” line in interviews. It was the same at Oregon; each year the team was mostly made up of freshman and sophomores each year because of the frequent transfers.

It only took Chip's team one half to put up the amount of points we did against Stanford and they have significantly less talent....

Chip proves he can beat a team without a quarterback.

Jack West, Stanford's third string quarterback, is in the running for the most incompetent QB I have ever seen play in a Pac-10/12 game.

Lockie was serviceable and that is it. Burmeister was a disaster. If he had not transferred when he did he would have transferred later.

I’d rather have Burmeister than Lockie, at least he was fast. Lockie couldn’t do anything, it was like watching a random fan from the stands at QB. But when it’s another team, an incompetent QB can be really entertaining to watch.
