Oklahoma @ Kansas State

Post by greenyellow »

KSU is giving OU everything it can handle, leading 41-23 near the end of the 3rd quarter. After surrendering a lot of yards early in the game, they've somehow found a way to smother the Sooners' potent offense.

I'm surprised they overturned the onside kick... one of the replays, it really looked like the ball went off the knee of the K-State player behind the OU player, and the other angles didn't appear conclusive at all. All they showed is SOMEONE touched it.

Really really close call but probably correct. To do that to Oklahoma of all teams had to be rough on the replay official.

An onside kick going 9.5 yards, and the replay goes against Oklahoma... almost seems familiar... ;)

The only thing that's missing is Bob Stoops looking like he's going to cry.

Woohoo, one more loss and Oklahoma will be ranked somewhere near the ducks.

That kick was awesome even if it only traveled 9 yards downfield! The spin the kicker had on it was a thing of beauty.

Did we touch it before 10 yards, probably, but we also went 50 yards downfield and scored a touchdown and blocked a FG after that call. There’s been countless calls outside of that one that decided a game much more than that one.

I was at that game, and with the amount of calls that went against us before that call, I felt it was only poetic justice. I have no problems with us winning that game.

K-State did a great job on capitalizing on a few OK mistakes. That's how you pull off upsets.
