Everything Oregon was taken down from his twitter profile, including about his commitment.HomeSickDuck wrote:New information? Or just speculation based on rumors and Arroyo departure?Phenom wrote:Wilson is probably gone.

Right now, Oregon is losing more than they're gaining. Didn't expect these kinds of losses after winning a conference title but all the coaching changes are likely what's driving it. Things are kinda dicey at WR and TE since there's a chance they may not have anyone sign at those positions during the early signing period if a bunch of decommits happen. With no OC, it seems players are not as committed as they once were since the direction of the offense is up in the air.

Yep, I trust this staff. Whatever is going on, I'm sure they've seen it coming for quite a while.

I think my fears for WR recruiting would be alleviated if I saw Bouknight pop up somewhere to show that he is actually on the road recruiting. Losing both Wilson and Hutson would suck because they turned away/stopped recruiting a few 4* guys due to concerns about space in this class. That would leave Devon Williams as the lone WR addition.

WR is one of the easiest positions to recruit for on the West Coast and we have decent depth for next year and good young talent. We'll be fine next year either way. They are supposedly tripping some highly regarded WR this weekend. Committed elsewhere...greenyellow wrote:I think my fears for WR recruiting would be alleviated if I saw Bouknight pop up somewhere to show that he is actually on the road recruiting.

May be easy to find them but actually getting ones that contribute has been a problem in past years. Also, count me as one who doesn't really want them to pursue a transfer like Shorter since it seems he's had work ethic, injury, and weight problems so far in his career plus wouldn't be eligible right away.Phenom wrote:WR is one of the easiest positions to recruit for on the West Coast and we have decent depth for next year and good young talent. Maybe John Humphreys or Jalen Mcmillen? Lots of four star wide receivers out there. I wonder if we could get back in with Gee Scott jr.Phenom wrote:They said 4* but idk whoHomeSickDuck wrote:Anyone know who?Phenom wrote:WR is one of the easiest positions to recruit for on the West Coast and we have decent depth for next year and good young talent. I’d love to pick up McMillan or Scott, UW fans would lose it.HomeSickDuck wrote:Maybe John Humphreys or Jalen Mcmillen? Lots of four star wide receivers out there. I think asfar as west coast guys go, McMillan, Humphreys, Scott Jr. and Odunze are the only 4 stars who are committed somewhere who we haven’t tripped yet. Good chance it’s one of them, unless it’s someone not on the west coast.DuckDuckJuice wrote:I’d love to pick up McMillan or Scott, UW fans would lose it.HomeSickDuck wrote:Maybe John Humphreys or Jalen Mcmillen? We have just had such terrible WR coaching for so long that our perspective is skewed.greenyellow wrote:May be easy to find them but actually getting ones that contribute has been a problem in past years.
