Post by swanriver »

You would think almost every instate recruit plus some "surprise/not yet announced" visitors
are on the radar ?
Does anyone have an update ?

There is expected to be quite a few visitors and I am sure as this week moves along we will probably get more. We might get some kids that were expected to visit later that might move their visit dates up. I am sure within the next day or two the sites will provide a list.

This is off the radar but Garrett Fritch, Linebacker 6'-1"- 240 for Mt Carmel HS in San Diego will attend as an unofficial. His team won their first CIF playoff game in a blowout but now face Oceanside # 1 in CIF and #4 Nationally. Garrett suffered a foot injury and is out for Oceanside.

Absolutely great kid with a fantastic work ethic, lifts insane weights, team Co Captain, volunteers in the community, 3.3 GPA and solid SAT. He has applied for early acceptance. I know the family and he WILL walk on.

No one has an updated list quite yet. Give it another week and we'll start getting a feel for what this weekend will look like.

But it'll definitely be a pretty big Thursday, I can guarantee that!

Mathis is the only one I know that has been confirmed by all 3 sites. But this is a strong list early on.

“Me and (Clarence) Murphy probably going to take a trip to Oregon. That’s probably going to be our next trip, Oregon.”

Not sure if he means for the Civil War, but that'd be my guess. He sounds all Michigan though at this point.

He is definitely a must get. We need immediate contributions from DT recruits next year. If we get King he could be an option there too. He has the frame to fill out to 290-300. That would probly be down the road though, can't expect him to put on 40 lbs between now & next fall.
