Possible ND Decommits
I heard this on College Football Live and made me think and wonder if Weiss gets fired which is likely will any of the recruits decommit. If they do will the Ducks go after any of them. The decommits are really out of my league and do not know how one school get to snag them. i know oregon has had a few of them. I am curious what others think. Maybe there are a few people are watching to see if they decommit. This thread am sure will be full of speculation. It seems though recruiting as a whole is speculation. It just is a curious thing for me and to see what some think or feel.

I watched the same thing. There are 18 commits to ND with 4 ESPNU 150 and 2 Army All-Americans. I know there were a couple of players that showed interest in Oregon. I bet the coaches get back into contact with them.

I would be shocked if Weis wasn't fired. I would still expect most of the commits to stay though. A big name coach will probably be brought in, and it's still playing football for Notre Dame.

Hopefully this does not prompt Gio Bernard to switch his commitment from Notre Dame to Oregon State.

and yet it shines no light on the reality of the situation. many think it is a clear sign that he is gonna be fired. but if he were to go on that recruiting trip would it be a clear sign that he is going to keep his job? the answer is NO. Anytime a coach's job is in question there is no reason to have him/her out there promoting the school if it isn't even sure if he/she will be back. I think people are reading a little to much into this. Do i think he will be fired? YES, but let's not all claim to know something when we have no evidence.sx1080 wrote:article in LA times states that Weis will not be recruitiing West Coast after Stanford game. I believe I just read that with the same scenario last year he was allowed to recruit before returning for his evaluation.blackjack17 wrote:and yet it shines no light on the reality of the situation. many think it is a clear sign that he is gonna be fired. but if he were to go on that recruiting trip would it be a clear sign that he is going to keep his job? the answer is NO.
