It feels like the run-up to the NFL draft has been especially long this year. Ready for them to just get it over with. Can't imagine what this has been like for the guys who opted out this season.
Well Albert Breer thinks Penei has "character flags" up there with Mac Jones and his DUI behavior. He didn't say what those character flags are, just that Penei has them. Ostensibly it must be that Penei, at the grizzled age of 19 (not even 20) had made the decision to forgo playing in a pandemic when the P12 hadn't even cleared teams to play. Oh and this was done in the light of being told he's the best pure prospect in the draft after Trevor Lawrence.

I tend to think that Cincy is going to pass on Penei for Chase, that the Dolphins will take Waddle or Smith and the Chargers will trade up with the Lions at 7 for Sewell. Magically the NFL will have its top 3 QBs from last year reunited with a college teammate.

No way Jevon lasts to the 4th, that's moronic stuff - he's not even making it to the 3rd round.

Thomas Graham, is another story. He did hurt his stock by not playing this year and he's a Day 3 guy likely.

Lenoir is probably going to get drafted but mid/late Day 3.

I really hope the bengals pass on him. Sewell doesn’t deserve to get lost in purgatory

Has anyone been following Sewell’s preseason? He has not looked good… hoping it has to do with his long lay off and change to RT.

Digging this up since we can link Norm Van Brocklin to Justin Herbert

74 Seasons of an Oregon QB attempting a pass in a Professional Football game (this obviously predates the unified NFL)
Yes! I remember reading an article about this years ago and failed in my attempt to find an article talking about it.

Such an odd record, but damnit, I enjoy it.
75 years now. Isn't there a type of specific gift for a 75th anniversary?

Sewell started at LT and faced Bosa much of the game. Other than one bad rep he looked fantastic.

10 Starters in the league from what I can gather, Ugo is practically the starting Nickel in Seattle and Juwan is likely moving up the Depth Chart (he's the 3rd TE).

QB: Justin Herbert - Chargers, Marcus Mariota - Raiders
RB: - Royce Freeman - Panthers,
WR:
TE: Pharoah Brown - Texans, Johnny Mundt - Rams, Juwan Johnson - Saints, Hunter Kampmoyer (PS) - Chargers
LT: Penei Sewell - Lions
LG: Shane Lemieux - Giants
C: Jake Hanson - Packers
RG: Calvin Throckmorton - Saints, Kyle Long (PUP) - Chiefs,
RT: Ty Crosby (IR) - Lions,

DE: Arik Armstead - 49ers, Jalen Jelks (IR) - WFT
DT: DeForest Buckner - Colts, Jordon Scott (IR) - Vikings, Austin Faoliu (PS) - Cowboys, Henry Mondeaux (PS) - Steelers
OLB: Justin Hollins - Rams,
MLB: Troy Dye - Vikings,
CB:Terrance Mitchell - Texans, Troy Hill - Browns, Ugo Amadi - Seahawks, Deommodore Lenoir - 49ers, Thomas Graham - Bears,
S: Jevon Holland - Dolphins, Brady Breeze (IR) - Titans,

Quarterback, they brought him in to run an option. He kept it and flashed the wheels we're so familiar with.
