Re: 1987 Draft Discussion
Agreed.
"Amazing raw" to me means there is a probably a higher % that the players is a bust (i.e. higher risk) vs. just "amazing" sounds like there is a better chance the potential is actual that.
just my interpretation.
and elite just sounds like a sure thing.

Let’s call elite potential the sleeper pick.lukeyrid13 wrote:Yeah, elite is a new one that is throwing me
Just for future reference.
For present: I think it just means their potential went up after testing sims. Meaning we don’t know exactly how they will sim

Re: 1987 Draft Discussion
Personally, I wanted to move to 10th spot cause I felt their where 4-10 other prospects I liked. But didn’t find right deal.
I made draft file, I found at I got #4 i knew I wanted to change it. Ownage upped Gilliam’s potential from B to A. Would have taken KJ but I still like Curry.
Really was a deep draft
For instance:
I get a spreadsheet and figure out ratings. I don’t touch any other players, only on spreadsheet. Jose O’Neal was a guy off spreadsheet. He simmed well so his name stayed on my mind. Jerrod Brand this year simmed well, but I’m set at SG so I don’t have interest in him. He’d be my elite pick

Yeah I’m very curious where he ends up 2-3 years from now talent wise.dd10snoop28 wrote:zyme got mr. elite. was hoping he'd drop.

Re: 1987 Draft Discussion
I'm in a secure enough position to sit on him for a year or three. He can easily become a great trade piece to get me a retool when the time comes.lukeyrid13 wrote:Yeah I’m very curious where he ends up 2-3 years from now talent wise.dd10snoop28 wrote:zyme got mr. elite. was hoping he'd drop.
