Probably just getting my hopes up, but how great it would be to get a team in Portland. I love the idea of them putting a stadium in NW, which is largely industrial but has a bar scene (NW 21st) a hop, skip and jump away.
I could almost guarantee I'd be good for 5-10 games a year. My commitment alone makes them more popular than the Rays, I'm pretty sure....

Haven't they been talking about moving an MLB team to Portland for like 10 years now?

They've been trying to get an expansion team for a handful of years, but I don't think there was ever even semi-serious discussions of moving a team here.

Not happening
If A's move it will be to Vegas
The only hope of Portland getting a team is through expansion

If I was looking to relocate a baseball team, I would probably want somewhere with a combination of sunny weather, a strong population of baseball fans, and a state government that was fairly open to fans attending games. I'd say Portland is probably going to be low on the list.
P.S. I'm glad this thread finally got some feedback this morning. I was worried nobody would be interested when it went over 15 hours without a response. I guess people need to take time and think before opining on some things.
