Re: Emoni Bates
He is going to reclassify to 2021. Therefore, he won't be eligible for the NBA draft until 2023, so if he goes to college, he will be there for 2 years.
His tape is ridiculous!

Unlikely. All signs point to G-League at this point, but in Altman we trust!

Rumor is that he doesn't care to take visits. It's all financial. Whichever opportunity will be the highest value is where he will go.
If Phil and Tinker can do another 7 figure deal like for KT then we have a shot, otherwise G league probably pays more, or overseas.

KT's deal was reported as 6 figure. The Bama QB is reportedly making 7 figures and there may be a few others out there at that level.lukeyrid13 wrote:Rumor is that he doesn't care to take visits. It's all financial. Whichever opportunity will be the highest value is where he will go.

Is there a site that shows incoming/current players NIL offers/acceptance? For hoops, what is the end game? Seems like it will be a battle not only between colleges, but for G league teams. Is there a cap for the G league? Will the NBA stand by, and force kids to prove themselves with NIL money, or up the ante? So much unknown at this point.

In basketball I expect the shoe companies will get into it with the 5 star blue chippers. Logically the shoe companies would prefer the player at a college with visibility and hopefully a March Madness run. They then get immediate return as opposed to paying a player to be invisible in the G-League for a year and hoping they make the NBA.Everythingsducky wrote:Is there a site that shows incoming/current players NIL offers/acceptance? He’s not. It’s been figured out that Saban was lying about that, which isn’t a suprise. Young is doing well, but not 7 figures well.

Sounds like Oregon talked him into making visits. UO will win this one.

Man, if they all come, and qualify, and stay healthy, and don't give up during the season, that would be one special class.greenyellow wrote:2022 commit Dior Johnson has posted a photo of Bates on his OV.
