Moorehead wasn't terribly convincing on his "what do you like about Oregon" question.

I keep reading reports that say Manning is looking really good at CB. Hope he holds up, we need him to be solid until James returns.

Baby Man. I'm worried about him and Sewell missing gaps and making mistakes, but hearing about him making plays makes me optimistic.

Sounding like both Manning and Bridges are looking good so far. CB has to be my biggest fear heading into Ohio St, but if those two can play well we could be set for awhile. Bridges is 6’3, has a 7’2 wing span, and ram at 22mph in practice. Tough to find guys like that, and we just lucked into seeing that he might be a decent CB.

There is absolutely no chance Bridges was moving at 22mph unless he was dropped out of an airplane. When Mario said that in the interview, I was like "Oh god, he's pumping reporters full of so much elephant sh*t." A few times, Oregon has published via twitter what their fastest guys ran in testing, and Daewood Davis was the highest at ~21mph max speed. If Bridges had his size/wingspan and combined it with that kind of speed, he'd be on the freaks' list and projected top 5 in the NFL draft.

Mario is being a good coach and he's pumping up two guys who he needs to perform in a tough position.

Your telling me that our guy isn’t as fast as the 5 NFL guys who broke 22 mph last season?

That said, if he can run in the mid 4.4-4.5, he would be plenty fast enough. But I agree with everything you say, but also just reporting what MC was saying.

Haha, was that a thing? Like at the combine or something else?
