And learn to make free throws for once. I'm not sure this team is doing well in any area right now. Close losses don't mean anything right now.

Since I wasn't at the game I hope that the box score is wrong and our 6'10" McDonald's All-American center got 12 rebounds and not 2. Not that it changes the L to a W, but at least it might signal our starting center is not as soft as he appears and is getting more aggressive. On the opposite side of that it looks like the guards did a good job rebounding and the team did a great job limiting turnovers. The game was a little closer than I thought it would be, so that's good.

I actually love how we didn't jack up an unholy amount of 3 pointers. I like shooting 1 for 2 from behind the arc for most the game. If we didn't turn it over so much at the end and hit half the free throws we missed, WE WIN.

It's still a loss, and it still sucks. But ate least IMO we are seeing some attempts at improvement. And I applaud that, finally a change of game.

EJ Singler looked good btw.

St Mary's was also missing senior guard wayne hunter in this game. 4-4 from the ducks at this point is horrendous. St Mary's is good, but they aren't great. What happened to the great mac court advantage?

Again, not being there and just listening to bits here and there I agree that it seems Singler played well. Also it seems the shot selection was good, not a lot of forced or quick 3's. I did notice that J.Wilson played a good 1st half but didn't score in the second half. Any one have any insight into that? I'd like to see him playing more over Longmire. I'm not a huge fan of Longmire, think he should be a energy guy off the bench.

Wilson missed a couple shots in the 2nd half. Not sure though, sounded like we turned it over too much in the second half and that's what cost us.

5 assists in the Missouri game, 6 in this game. That has to be near a record for least amount of assists in back to back games. Also, no blocked shots. And when is Dunigan going to give the ducks a great game?

The only surprise in this game is the Ducks didn't lose by more. At least they will probably win 3 of the next 4. Oakland will beat them.

Porter tweaked an ankle against Montana, on one of the first couple possessions, and Catron has been having back spasms.
