I think PudgeJeff might actually be Ernie Kent.

I haven't been supporting Kent all that much actually...I just don't see anybody actually offering up a reasonable replacement...Just people asking for his head

That's not our job. It's our job to realize that the current coach isn't cutting it & let the university know that we don't support him. They are the ones who do the search & interview process. If fans were the ones who offered up the coaches for the University to look at as replacements then we'd be in huge trouble.

If I had a choice I would have gone after the young coach at VCU, Anthony Grant. VCU has a history of putting out successful coaches & he already had a ton of success at VCU. Bama snagged him last year though. IMO we need to go after a young up & coming guy. I don't want Few but at this point I'd rather have him than Kent.

I actually liked that coach too and if he had been chosen I would have still been upset because I don't think he's an upgrade, atleast it still wouldn't have been Few or an unproven assistant...My biggest thing is not only has Ernie brought in talent we've never had before he's also made sure each kid graduates which is a rarity in college sports, although it should be the most important part since it is called college sports...If you remember guys like Freddie and Aaron weren't anything but potential until they're senior years...Imagine if these young men blossom in the same way together.

OR, Imagine if they dont....We have a grand NEW arena coming on board next year..It might be a good thing to be able to win a game in it.....I like EK, but more as a player, than as a coach...I have seen both sides of that coin.......Its just time that we move on though....He has had some quality players, but not a competitive team...

I've offered up Brian Gregory before and I still think he should be near top of list. He's proven he can be a head coach and get a lot out of his talent. He also had a 91% graduation rate last year. He's a disciple of Tom Izzo and a lot of Izzo disciples have done well historically. He's a better option than Few I think. If I were Few I'd stay in Gonzaga anyway.
