Brutal 30 foot shot with the shot clock expiring. Though I have to wonder, what was Richardson doing? Shot clock running out, get on your man! Richardson falls asleep on defense frequently.

*sigh*

Young runs around the court and can't find a shot. Richardson should have gone and ripped the ball from him.

Richardson just disappeared the last few minutes after his injury.

Guerrier with a big three but Oregon either needs a steal or Arizona to miss some FTs.

Looks like the ducks are gonna lose a close one. They fought hard and had chances but Zona just executed better down the stretch. Credit to Zona for pulling it out.

I said it earlier in the season but Oregon is the most talented team in the conference, they just aren’t the best team by far. The fact that they beat UCLA and handled USC both on the road and almost won this one mostly playing iso basketball is a testament to that, but the fact that they can get blown out by Colorado, Cal, and ASU shows that they are a very inconsistent team that struggles to play like a cohesive unit. This definitely felt like Oregon’s last chance at making the tourney without having to rely on winning the conference tourney and because of the bad losses lately they don’t get credit for a good loss tonight. Definitely feels like a what could’ve been season.

Horrific play by Richardson at the end. He is never going to be a closer.

What was Richardson doing there? He needed to take that three.

I was actually thinking when they were shooting the FT's that there was NO WAY that i'd want to have Richardson take the ball if we need a three. If we need a two, he is the go-to guy but not as good as creating for his 3pt shot as Young is.

I was thinking Richardson or Young should try to get into the lane and look for Guerrier on the perimeter for a three. He was shooting really well tonight.

I will never understand Will Richardson. His downfall will always be his lack of mental fortitude/confidence/ability to recognize that is he is our best player. All of that mental weakness was on display on the final play.

He plays like he thinks he is an average player. You have a 7footer on you guarding you on the perimeter. You should be able to get separation every single time. His ability is second to none. His mental approach is sooo bad.

Drive wouldn't do any good if we were down three. Defense would gladly give up a layup.

Payton needs to give Will some lessons in clutch shooting. But at least they showed some resiliency today.

He had a relatively open 3 and he refused to take it. It wasn't about creating a 3, it was about being afraid to take it.
