Wow. Refs vs Sabally. Wonder who’s going to win? Rediculous.

Atrocious reffing. Doing everything they can for Stanford to get back in it. Can’t believe the bs non calls they ignored from Stanford. Terrible
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

Also not helping that Oregon has gone completely cold from the field.

My thoughts:

- Like the men, the women's team has a problem when it comes to needing a bucket. The offense is way too inconsistent and the team tends to go away from the hot hand. How many times did Paopao touch the ball after hitting those 3's?

- Not Coach Graves' best job down the stretch. Why did he elect to put the smaller Parrish on Haley Jones?! Jones got going and it was no looking for back for the Cardinal once that happened. Prince was out of rhythm all game long due to foul trouble but steps in and nails a jumper ... and coach takes her out immediately.

- The "administrative technical" absolutely decided the outcome of the game. Instead of the game being tied after Sabally's FTs, Oregon was down one. Instead of being down four with 10 seconds left to go, Oregon would have been down three. It's ridiculous to punish one team for something completely out of the player's control.

- I'm not going to blame the officiating entirely for this loss (Ducks need to be able to get a bucket over the last half of the 4th quarter), but goodness was it terrible. Stanford was allowed to play one way (aggressive and physical) and the Ducks were not. I thought a lot of the blocking fouls called on Oregon in the game were either charges by Stanford or simply no-calls.

The refs being clueless and missing some calls is a given in the Pac-12, so it is what it is. Regardless, Stanford made the clutch plays down the stretch and the Ducks simply didn't. For example, Sabally had an easy shot around the hoop late in the game that she was making every single time a month ago. You drop that in and the complexion of the game completely changes. Conversely, you have a Stanford player throwing a ball in the hoop while virtually sitting on the floor for a 3-point play.

Other than the outcome, there are more positives than negatives to take away from this game. If the Ducks have any shot at making some sort of Final 4 type run though, they have to get Sabally back to playing like the elite player she was during the first half of the season.

My thought: It sucks that none of our teams are good right now.

With what, 1:20 left we have a major unforced turnover on a pass out of bounds. We also had a poor shot selection following a timeout where we took a mid-range jumper that bricked and looked like it wasn't a part of the play.

A really great effort by the team but the final 5 minutes showed the need for this team to develop a play-maker.
