That has 0-2 written all over it.
That trip has 0-2 written all over it for a lot of pac-10 teams this year...And you guys are hilarious...We just handily beat a very good Oakland team that has an NBA center, 2 other all league guys and is a unanimous pick to win there league...they will be somewhere in the 8-9 seed range come tourney time, that's a good win

If you really think a home win over a 6-6 Oakland team is impressive then I give up. Oakland has no quality wins, and the only way they make it to the NCAA tournament is if they win their conference. Which could easily happen, but no way will they be a 8-9 seed. More like 11-13...

You have lost your mind pudge. You've gone way too far to stand up for Kent & make excuses for this team. Oakland = very good? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. We both suck & this program is going down fast. When close wins at home over Oakland start to become "very good wins" you know we have no hope.

Did you watch the game?...That was my point...It wasn't a close win...It wasn't a struggle or a battle...We controlled the game from start to finish, and this all without our number 1 scorer...i wasn't meaning this was a groundbreaking win, but all anyone could say before is that we'll probably lose and that should be the end, yet we convincingly handle them and all anyone can say is still how bad this team is...At least give them some credit and notice that a young group showed that they can grow and are starting to grow as a team together...Ya big Mike has always played up to good competition, and he'll probably not continue to show that kind of aggressive play, but you can see that it's there...So instead of blaming Kent for not playing him, maybe assert some of the blame to him for not playing like he can, the only way to get through to someone like that is to sit them when they are unwilling to play hard...Jacob and Armstead both look like they're getting their feet underneath them finally...All in all I saw a very different team and I'm not sure how you couldn't

Porter and Teondre both played, what #1 scorer are you referring too? They are the only two players in double figures.

And just so you know, the game was tied at 44 with 9 minutes left. If you look at the game flow, this game was very close until about with 6 minutes left..

Like I said...Did you actually watch the game?...We were without TP...Teondre and LL barely played...Ya TP played but he wasn't ready to be back and it wasn't like his 0-4 looked good, the shots had no chance...And it may have been tied at 44 but if you were watching the game you could see the whole time that we were controlling every facet of the game

Yes I watched the entire game, and we looked like a team who could barely beat Oakland. You act as if Teondre and LL are the only SG/SFs we have lol. Jamil Wilson and EJ Singler are just as good if not better players. So does it really matter all that much if Teondre or LL barely played? IMO if guys like Dunigan or Armstead didn't play, then that would be an excuse because both of those players are key pieces.

And then could barely beat Idaho State...

That I will not disagree with you on...The other part I agree that Jamil is better than they are but is only a freshman is has yet to show his true ability, you can see the potential but we haven't seen the ability...EJ as well has played very well, especially in the Idaho St game...And i'm not saying Teondre and LL are our only SG/SF but they are our starting SG/SF and have been the best so far this year, add in TP and your missing 3 starters...I agree Armstead is a big piece...I wish big Mike was but he was back to his normal form against Idaho State, I wish every team had a stud post cause he plays up for sure and we are gonna need him to be a big piece for sure but you can't just say he is cause you want him to be and he hasn't been one this year.

Meh, I still don't see how Longmire and Teondre being out justifies a close game up until 6 minutes left against Oakland. Oakland is a decent team. But when we play at home against a team with a .500 record, I expect us to put them away a lot earlier then that. :/

EXACTLY! That Oakland team lost to Syracuse by 30+. They are not even an average team. I'll still take the win, though.

I checked out the Oakland schedule. Did you look PudgeJeff? They have played some very good teams, and lost to all of them.

Their losses are to: East Mich (4), Wisconsin (16), Kansas (30), Memphis (31), Mich State (31), Oregon (12), Syracuse (32).

So they may have played good teams, but they were destroyed in those
games.

Their wins: Hope College (35), Rochester College (34), Tennessee Tech (21), Central Arkansas (8), Green Bay (16), Seattle (9).

Not a whole lot of "quality" wins on that list. I can't imagine how you'd ever believe that's the resume of a 8-9 seed. It's truly a sad day when we're arguing the merit of a win over Oakland
