I don't have a subscription anymore but from what I've heard on other sites and this one it's probably Mathis and King.

Re: A lot of talk on Talefeathers about Silent Commits
Just about everyone who has some connections feels strongly that Mathis & King are likely silents. Mathis is set to announce at the Army Bowl game, thus the reason why he wants to wait. As for King, he's not playing in the game due to the knee injury and he's not sure if he's even going to be there. Would he announce his choice if he's there? Don't know.
Many of these same insiders feel pretty good about 2 other players that could be silents. I'm not going to post who these 2 are, but they have both visited Oregon already and neither are currently committed elsewhere. If we land these 2, along with Mathis & King, everyone will be very happy.
Finally, there has been quite a bit of speculation that Oregon is pursuing a national level running back who is currently committed to another school. At one time I was told the player was Mack Brown, but others have said he isn't the guy. The ones who know who this player is aren't giving up the name.

Could this be the year where we start taking elite players on a yearly basis? Mathis and King would be huge. I would also love to add Werner and Easley. Owa as a second Christmas.

That silent thread has nothing of substance. Just a lot of talks and questions. Nothing big. Dior and Easley will be ducks during the all star games. And IF Gabe ends up going to the AAA game and deciding, I'd like our chances with him as well..

I've mentioned before, both here and on other sites, that I think the silent was Easley (now decommitted from PSU) and the RB is Redd. Nobody has shot that down yet, it has always gone unanswered. If I am wrong, somebody please say so.

Makes total sense on Redd especially if Easily is a silent commit. Redd is from Connecticut. Hmm, don't we have a coach with a lot of connections in that area ?squintsdd wrote:I've mentioned before, both here and on other sites, that I think the silent was Easley (now decommitted from PSU) and the RB is Redd. Haven't heard anything on Redd, but I guess that could make sense.squintsdd wrote:I've mentioned before, both here and on other sites, that I think the silent was Easley (now decommitted from PSU) and the RB is Redd.
