Ducks manufacture 2 runs in the B8 to take the lead and then get a game-ending double play to get the 3-2 win.

This whole pool play is confusing me, why does Stanford advance to the semi’s with one win over Cal? What happens if Oregon beats Stanford tonight?

Stanford is top seed and seeding is the tie breaker. So if every pool has one team that goes 2-0, then those three teams advance to semis. Stanford wins the tie-breaker for all one win teams and will advance as the #4 seed.

Oregon gave 6 runs in the first four outs. Trying to catch up, 6-2 in the 3rd.

I haven't watched baseball at all, but in watching this game, it just seemed like Stanford was hammering Oregon pitching and the only reason Oregon was able to hold them to 6 runs was because fielders were in the right place to catch all the line drives. Anyway, nice win! Hope they can keep it going.

This has been a fun year, and if they manage to win this tournament and make it to the super regionals, that’ll be a huge success. Oregon is really lacking in the pitching department largely due to injuries so my expectations were low, but no doubt this is a fun team that has played really well. Wasikowski is building something special here and with more time I think he’ll get Oregon baseball performing really well consistently, AND they’ll be having more attendance cause it’s 1,000,000,000,000,000X more fun to watch than Horton small ball.

Great outing by Grinsell to stymie the Huskies for 3 innings. Ducks lead 12-7 entering the B9.

Ducks are advancing to the Pac-12 CG with the 12-7 win over UW. They'll play either Arizona or Stanford at 7 PM tomorrow.
