2 Vikings players I'll be interested in seeing how much they play will be TE Charlie White and RB Treyvon Easterling. I saw each of them play in HS and former Duck DL Cole Linehan has built a strong program at his alma mater, Banks. I wouldn't be shocked if White becomes a solid TE for them.

I look for offensive and defensive line play in these kind of games. Kind of gives an indication of what kind of season we are going to have. So many of these cupcake games have been won by our skill positions just being too good, but the line play being underwhelming.

I just hope the Ducks stay focused on PSU and not be looking forward to Texas Tech. It would be nice to have the game in hand by halftime or the 3rd Qtr, get some playing time for the backups and the starters off the field.wlduck wrote:I look for offensive and defensive line play in these kind of games. "RS SO Darien Chase (6-1, 210, injury redshirt in 2022, 54-579-4 in 2021)"
I remember when we were recruiting him. Good for PSU pulling a big name from transfer portal.

Re: Portland State vs Oregon (Sept. 2, Sat 12 PM Pac12Net)
So glad we finally have some football.
Last year, we bought a new house during the summertime and moved about a month into the season. I still watched the games, but I couldn't really go all-in because of packing, unpacking, arranging, shopping, etc. -- just all the baggage that comes along with changing scenery.
This year my brother and I are committed to doing it right. Our goal is not just to hang out and cook for every game, but each week we're going to do something new. Our Portland State dish is going to be smoked pizzas on the Traeger.
Hood to Coast & the start of Duck football -- genuinely my favorite time of year.
GO DUCKS! Just a few more days.

Really like the helmet. But I’ve never been a fan of all yellows. Glad we get it out of the way week 1 on the P12 network

Love the helmets, but I think the Oakley-esque O has aged. It was a very modern & sleek design when we made the switch, but it looks flat and out of place on our current unis. I’d love to see an update to the O that better blends into the current helmet/jersey design.
