Yeah. 24-14 with the ball to start the second would feel a little more comfy. And I would love to have used more clock on that last drive, but I’ll always take rhythm and points this early in a game over clock mgmt.

Saw on Twitter from Prehm that our starting center is injured? Did anyone see what happened?
Willie Taggart is a dick.

That's not it. USC started with the ball, so one less possession. Ducks have a chance to build a lead to start the second half.Everythingsducky wrote:Love DL, but, DL.whosyourwally wrote:HOW IS OREGON ONLY UP ONE SCORE AT HALF? They’ve outplayed USC by a mile. Football, man. So stressful.

Yup, he over thinks sometimes. Part of being a young head coach in just his second seasonEverythingsducky wrote:Love DL, but, DL.whosyourwally wrote:HOW IS OREGON ONLY UP ONE SCORE AT HALF? They’ve outplayed USC by a mile. Football, man. So stressful.

Like the Washington game, I feel like we are suffering from some growing pains from Coach being young and learning on the job. I do have faith that he is on track to be a fantastic coach that can lead us to championships in the future if he sticks around. But we're going to have to accept some of his learning curve, much of it being just how much stubbornness and pride he can inject into the game before it hurts his team.
Feels like we should be ahead three touchdowns. Hopefully they sharpen in the second half and make sure the score matches the dominance on the field.

Are you really discounting the two failed PAT attempts? Really?Phalanx wrote:That's not it. USC started with the ball, so one less possession. LOL! I'm not the one obsessing about 2 points. Sorry, I keep forgetting how this thread goes during the game.Everythingsducky wrote:Are you really discounting the two failed PAT attempts? Holding the #2 scoring offense to only 2 scores on 5 possessions and you’re losing your mind over 2 lost points while scoring on every drive?Everythingsducky wrote:Are you really discounting the two failed PAT attempts? Number of penalties are such a downer.

Geez, the self inflicted stuff is killing this game. If they lose, it won’t be USC beating the Ducks, it will be the Ducks beating the Ducks.

We haaaaave to cut the penalties. Multiple penalties on every drive. We can’t keep making it this hard on ourselves.

Oh no, first Whittington and now Irving. I hope that was just a impact injury that a week can heal.

Outcome TBD obviously, but drives like that are what make this team special.
USC stole some momentum going into half and Oregon just bulldozed their way downfield and showed USC they don’t rattle easy.

JPJ hasn't played a great game (false start + bad snap might've been on him). I didn't see him get injured though. I did see the USC center limp off the field in the first half.pezsez1 wrote:Saw on Twitter from Prehm that our starting center is injured? Did anyone see what happened?
The Bucky injury is more concerning. I hope he's ok.
