Notable Final Regular Season Stats

Post by UOducksTK1 »

Here's a handful and then some with the national rankings next to the stat.

Individual
Box Nix Passing Yards (1st)
Box Nix Passing TDs (2nd)
Box Nix Interceptions (T-1st)
Box Nix Completion Percentage (1st)
Troy Franklin Receiving Yards (3rd)
Troy Franklin Receiving TDs (T-2nd)

Team
Scoring Offense (2nd)
Scoring Defense (7th)
Offense Sacks Allowed (1st and it's not even close)
Offense 3rd Down Percentage (3rd)
Offense Turnovers lost (2nd)
Offense Yards (2nd)
Defense Yards Allowed (15th)
Defense Yards Per Play (13th)
Net Punting (6th)

Statistically, this may be the most exceptional regular season on paper on all sides of the field.

.

Is it too early to say that 2023 Bo Nix, post 1st Washington Huskie game (ie- games 7-12), is greatest UO Quarterback of all time? Games 1-6 he was good, but games 7-12 he has been elite.

Reminds me of Bill Walton at his prime on the Championship run. I know it was a different sport but still.
