2024-25 MBB Additions/Subtractions

With the season concluded, Oregon MBB will now go about filling out next season's roster with transfers, late 2024 signees, and reclassifiers. As it stands, the roster looks like this:

PG: Jackson Shelstad, Keeshawn Barthelemy
SG: Jadrian Tracey, Ra'Heim Moss, T.J. Bamba, Jamari Phillips
SF: Brandon Angel, Mookie Cook, Dez Lindsay, Oleksandr Kobzystyi
PF: Kwame Evans, Supreme Cook
C: Nate Bittle

Transfers Out: Vyctorius Miller, Brennan Rigsby, Kario Oquendo, Ibrahima Traore
Transfers In: Brandon Angel, Ra'heim Moss, T.J. Bamba, Supreme Cook, Oleksandr Kobzystyi

With Vyctorius Miller gone, they're going to have to get at least 2 SGs now as they can't really depend on Rigsby or Oquendo taking major leaps. Hopefully they let him go because they're close to getting a couple high level guards soon.

Miller is clearly one of those get the bag kids. Don't expect big things from him long term as those kids almost never pan out. (See Dior)

Big key this offseason is getting the high level transfers. IE, Tennessee getting Kenecht this last year and us missing on him.

Getting Barthelemy back is huge as they have another SR leader and someone capable of playing both G spots.

Rigsby is now in the portal. I assume Oquendo may be as well. The SG position is going to look really different next year.

He only played due to injuries. Even if he stayed he would have been the 9-10th guy.

Rigsby looked promising at first but really disappeared when the season went on especially when there was more pressure on him. I was extremely disappointed in his effort the second half of the season, especially in the tourney. He was a statue on offense, I think Rigsby transferring is best for both sides.

Oquendo is gone as expected. Oregon really has to hit with their portal additions at SG with there being no SGs on the roster now.

Chris Manon, Otega Oweh, Ra’heim Moore, and TJ Bama have all visited Oregon (or are visiting this week). They aren’t the top guys in the portal, but they are all solid ball players.

Carr wouldn't be with us until the 2025 season though.
