Why aren't we a better T&F school?

Someone with inside knowledge, tell me why we're not a better T&F school.
Is it weather? We have the premiere facilities in the country for T&F.

Funny you mention this, because I was thinking the same thing.

Well and a decade ago, we were. I know we've lost some good coaches since then.

Weather has always been the biggest factor in getting good sprint teams together, and that's generally how championships are won.

Losing their home stadium for a couple years and then going through a coaching/philosophy change hasn't helped Oregon in the last 4-5 years.

Coaching. The head man is a Nike-installed guy, and turns out Nike doesn't know how to run track teams at the professional or amateur level.

Uw is finding sizable success on the backs of some former duck coaches.
