What do y'all make of the new guard transfer?

Not an outside threat, but a scoring threat nonetheless. All conference defensive team too. Looks like a very solid get. Should compete for the starting SG job.

Statistically as much as an outside threat as all three of our SGs last year. The real question with players like him is how does his talent translate against Big Ten defenses? He wasn't even the best player on his team, so it'll be interesting. He does score a lot inside, which could be good since we don't really have any inside scoring guards on our roster right now.OG Duck wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 12:03 pm What do y'all make of the new guard transfer?

With Phillips addition, they should be done with any backcourt additions. They now need to hope Dante gets his extra year or find a serviceable big man who can give them minutes at PF and/or C.

Looks like 2024 signee Ibrahima Traore is now headed to Utah.

Maybe bigger fish to fry with Dante not returning?

Most thought Supreme Cook would be their last addition to replace Dante. Should be interesting to see if they leave the spot open or try for another big man that could contribute if needed.UOducksTK1 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2024 3:51 pm Random^

Hopefully we can find another big man, so we avoid another Diawara situation.

I wonder who Altman is looking at? Maybe somebody hoping to reclassify?

Apparently Jesse Zarzuela was still at Oregon this whole time. Have seen a few articles today about him just now leaving Oregon and entering the transfer portal.

He really wasn't with them; Oregon just happened to be his last school. He's had a slow recovery from whatever injury he had last season.pdxduck2013 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2024 12:06 pm Apparently Jesse Zarzuela was still at Oregon this whole time.
