Penn State defense seems to have no idea how to defend any sort of misdirection. If Penn State ends up winning today and if Oregon and Penn State meet in the B1G championship Will Stein will have a lot of fun. Easy TD for Ohio State to cut the lead to 10-7.

That taunting penalty was absolutely ridiculous.

IMHO and probably not a popular one (I’m a little old school, let the scoreboard do your talking), it’s not called enough, there is way too much trash talking between WR’s and CB’s. Any given game there are 10-20 plays that could/should have taunting called. The play you are referring to was absolutely taunting. Stepping over a downed player, tilting your head down to look at said player and running your mouth is absolutely taunting. You may get away with it 100 times but don’t bitch when you do eventually get the flag. The fault lies with the NCAA and individual official crews. I can assure you that if it is called as often as it should be then the issue stops. To be clear I’m not talking about your normal trash talking, it’s the standing over a player, looking down doing the bobble head or following another player across the field and your head looks like a bobble head on the dash of an old pickup with no suspension. Does this take away from my personal enjoyment of the game, nope.
