Balanced offensive scoring night! Defense showed some weaknesses.
New guys looked good. TJ made a few mistakes, he looked like he was doing. Too much at times. But other 4 starters had solid games.

Hard to judge an Altman team this early other than noting the athletic tools he has too work with. This one seems very thin in the banger category so I am hoping for Karma to start letting us use our huge credit balance in the injury department.

Pick n roll defense was shoddy in the first half. Second half, defense was playing smart and with high energy. Great sign to have the defense be this connected this early on in the season. Usually takes us a while. We'll see tho cuz UCR was pretty one-dimensional.
Bittle looks really good. Might be our go-to player this year. Need to feed him a lot.
Kwame/Shelstead looking good.
Bamba looks like he could be good. He has all of the athletic tools, but may take a while to feel comfortable in this offense. I would be nice if he could develop into Cousinard for this team because.....
Other than Shelstead, we don't seem to have any consistent play-makers. We'll see how the season goes, but this may hurt us down the road.
Moookie Cook had GREAT energy, but he's two steps behind mentally. He may not get much playing time this year.
Angel is fundamentally sound, but he is extremely slow. I don't think you can have both him and Bittle on the court at the same time. We'll get killed defensively.
