Looks like the betting odds have Montana picked to finish 1st or 2nd (depending on the sportsbook) in the Big Sky.
Oregon is about a 16 to 17 point favorite.

Oregon's defense absolutely suffocated Montana's offense in the first half and they had a nice couple runs to pump their lead to 24 at halftime. Then it was just cruise control through the entire 2nd half . There's just so much potential with this team and they're so much farther along than the last few seasons with there not being a ton of injuries.

I was there and don't know that I can add anything to gy's comment. Ducks seemed to get a little sloppy in the second half at times, but that often happens after you get a big lead. I don't think Montana is a bad team, but this wasn't much of a contest. I certainly feel good about the team at this point.

Yeah I thought the ducks looked great, definitely improved from game 1. If I had to nitpick the only two issues I saw were that Bittle needs to finish tougher inside and Bamba dribbles a little too much. I’m sure Altman & co will fix those two things though.
Is Shelstad the fastest player to ever put on a duck jersey? I can’t believe how fast he is! He’s gonna be really fun to watch this year.

That one layup of his was jaw-breaking speed. I believe Johnathan Lloyd was as fast but Jordan Kent is hands down the fastest if you put them all on a track. But imho Shelstad may play BB at the fastest speed or pace. He is in high gear the most often and plays at a hyper speed in situations other than running full court.OregonFan4Life wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 10:09 am Yeah I thought the ducks looked great, definitely improved from game 1. I said it in the expectations thread, but if healthy...this team could be elite. The talent is there.

Also nice to see our D contesting way more shots in this game than last game.Greenblood wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2024 11:42 pm I was there and don't know that I can add anything to gy's comment.
