VM, randomware etc

TK, I'll just bring my computer next month when I see you and maybe we can figure something out.
I’m going to try something different. I got a windows 7 pc coming and going to try to transfer everything over. I already got the file on a hard drive.

New pc was windows 11 so that could be why it didn’t work. If it does I have another code for someone was has a windows 7 pc.

VM is virtual machine (basically a program where you can run some PC programs on other operating systems). Abandonware is software that the developer has walked away/abandoned it and it begins to cease to function due to it.

Interesting.

So what does that mean for future of leagues like this if say Ownage's file got corrupt?

I know we have several engineers / developers here, is the FBB system something that can be recreated in any fashion and/or why hasn't it in 20 years now?

I mean your talking about thousands of files..

Code is all in htm files.

I’m sure they have other sim programs. Fbb2001 can’t be the only one

Not sure what is available to basketball but like there is OOTP for baseball so its not like there are not sports sims that people are not still making. I'm sure there is a newer one. FBB is the one that people cooeslessed around.

I do have the crack now. So PM me if anyone wants it. It's just a tiny application that edits the registry.

As for the game ceasing functionality, I wouldn't worry about it. It's not going to break all the way without a new Windows OS or something. And even then, can be circumvented by virtual machine or not upgrading.

The other notable basketball sims are Fast Break Pro Basketball 3 (same developer, much more modern), Draft Day Sports (released annually), and basketballgm (browser, constantly updated)

I’ve tried a couple of the other softwares and it’s quite different gameplay and feel. If there were no more fbb leagues, I’d probably just retire.

I may too. I tried FBB3 once years ago and it just wasn’t fun for whatever reason.

I think FBPB 3 could closely emulate a regular FBB league. Disable coaching, maybe scouting (No staff associated with this I think, it just gives players different ratings for each GM I think instead of true ratings. Not 100% sure), auto training camp, set financials to match this league. Day-to-day you're just looking at additional ratings and a more in-depth DC (but still simpler than Draft Day sports).

Draft Day Sports was probably the one I enjoyed the most single-player, but also the one with the most issues. Latest I tried was 2021.

Bballgm is just too simple to make me like it a lot, but it's ok fun for quick, multiple season sims.

Hello,
Sorry for my English.
I am Spanish and I have seen that some people here have the f.b.b 2.4.1 crack.
I appreciate if you can send them to me.
I only registered for this

I didn't know the Oregon Ducks, but I think it will be a new fan if you send me the file.
Thank you!!!
