Edit: I foolishly thought this was the last series of the season, I forgot about the Iowa series next weekend so my question is irrelevant.

Ducks open the weekend with a 5-0 win over UW behind another outstanding start from Grinsell.

Oregon clinches the series over UW with a 6-4 win in game 2 as the bullpen throws 4 scoreless innings while Neville and Walsh both go yard again.

Want a sweep. Meanwhile, Iowa has dropped both of their games to Oregon State. Oregon really should've won the league.

I shouldn’t say this, but it really seems like the coaching staff has found a good and reliable bullpen they like, and if the bullpen continues to pitch like this, with the firepower they have in their lineup, this team has a really high ceiling.

You’re not wrong, there are a couple really bad inexcusable series from this team (I’m guessing jet lag), but Iowa’s B1G schedule this year is an absolute joke.StevensTechU wrote:Want a sweep. Meanwhile, Iowa has dropped both of their games to Oregon State. Oregon really should've won the league.

Oregon has found a nice rhythm with Umlandt, Featherston, Garcia, Stokes, and Mattox being their main guys out of the bullpen. Would be nice to get Sanford and one more guy going as well.OregonFan4Life wrote: ↑Sat May 10, 2025 5:04 pm I shouldn’t say this, but it really seems like the coaching staff has found a good and reliable bullpen they like, and if the bullpen continues to pitch like this, with the firepower they have in their lineup, this team has a really high ceiling.

Umlandt gets one out and gives up two runs in relief. 5-2 Oregon in the top of the 7th. Reitz gave up no runs in 6 innings.

Wasikowki has a short leash on his bullpen after the early season struggles. I didn’t think he’d pull Umlandt so quickly after that home run.

Another W. Swept the fuskies, and not yet mathematically eliminated in the Big Ten. Need a sweep of Iowa and UCLA to stub their toes a bit.
