Terry leaving UCLA was a major surprise but there are rumors that UCLA is making a lot of cuts within their AD due to continued budget shortfalls and softball could get hit hard. Saw some saying a few more Bruins could leave because their NIL situation is not good.

Another UCLA pitcher has hit the portal as FR Addisen Fisher is transferring. Rumors are she's homesick (she's from Bend) and wants to get closer to home so Oregon may end up being her top choice.

That would be fabulous if she came to Oregon. I've kind of been fantasizing about that possibility once I realized she was from Bend.

Not a chance we're throwing the kind of money her way that the SEC footprint teams can.

On another note, not necessarily deserving its own thread, but one assumption in the coming years after the Diego Pavia JuCo stuff will be about an athlete's 4-years of eligibility being challenged either through the courts or pressure on the NCAA.

While I won't hold my breath on Fisher coming to Oregon, if she really is homesick, that's something that $ can't necessarily buy.

Looks like Fisher wasn’t that homesick after all, she’s headed to Georgia.

She'll probably get more in NIL than Lombardi does from salary.

Texas Tech is a now a softball school as they got UCLA P Kaitlyn Terry and 3 All-American transfers in Taylor Pannell, Jazzy Burns, Mia Williams. Sounds like their NIL collective and a big-time travel coach/team were busy getting transfers during the spring while the season was still going. A lot of shadiness going on ahead of the new NIL rules going into effect.

She'd be a good replacement for one of the OF spots vacated by the Luschar sisters and Patmon graduating. It'd be nice if they went after another Arizona OF transfer, All-American and 2024 Gold Glove winner Dakota Kennedy.

New name connected to Oregon is Texas A&M utility player Amari Harper. She's supposedly good friends with Grein.

Oregon has found Sinicki's replacement after adding two-time all-ACC INF Addison Amaral from Notre Dame.
