Ducks escape disaster after another error plates the tying run for Illinois but Devin Bell settles down to get a FC groundout at home, lineout to Cooney at 2B, and flyout to Laya in RF.

Oregon drops game 2 16-13 as Devin Bell gives up a walkoff 3-run HR. Bullpen and defense once again lose it for the Ducks.

Bullpen has always been a weakness under Wasikowki but seems worse than ever this year.

For real. Illinois was 3rd last in HRs in the big ten going into this series. We’re making them look like an amazing hitting team.

Oregon started the scoring off with a Jaksa RBI single and have now hit 3 solo HRs from Cooney, Lauaki, and Molony in the 5th to retake the lead.

After Illinois got a run back on a solo HR, Ryan Cooney hit his 2nd HR of the game to put Oregon up 6-3.

Ducks put up 4 on a Jax Gimenez bases-clearing triple and then a wild pitch allows him to score a few pitches later. Oregon up 10-4 entering the B7.
